Our Trips
Typical Itinerary
We depart around 3pm (although the Atlantic Clipper’s departure times and arrival times vary due to the restrictions of tides in getting in and out of the marina- PLEASE CHECK THE TIMES ON YOUR TICKET) so out of Abel Point Marina at 3pm, past Pioneer Rocks and sail via the Molle Island group to Nara Inlet. Drop anchor here for the night where you can settle down for dinner and some evening fun. Early start the next morning as we pass through Hook passage then follow the Whitsunday Island till we arrive at Tongue Bay and drop anchor. Here you will be ferried to the beach where there is a track that takes you up to the world famous Hill Inlet Lookout Here you can view Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet.
After you have taken your photo’s you head back down the track and onto the beautifully soft white sand of Whitehaven beach. Here you’ll enjoy the beach for about two and a half hours, playing sport, building sand castles, swimming or just sunbathing. These few hours really are a highlight of the trip. After this you make your way back to the ferry pick up point where you’re ferried back to your boat.
Have a freshly prepared lunch on the way as we do our longest sail up to the north end of Hook Island. We make our way to Luncheon Bay where again we drop anchor for your first snorkel or dive. Some great coral and plenty of fish, this spot really is a terrific place to have your first Scuba Dive experience as we do it off the beach!
Once we have finished there we head off to the stunning Blue Pearl Bay off Hayman Island. Again we drop anchor, dive, snorkel, swim, relax on the beach or suntan on the vessel. Blue Pearl is a must if you want to see fish, there are thousands!
When everyone is back on board you can settle down for an evening beverage while food is freshly prepared for dinner. Watch the sunset and have a great evening.
Up early (again!) the next morning for your final scuba dive, snorkel, swim or walk as you are now at Langford reef. Great sand, coral and fish again at this stunning spot. Once everyone has finished we weigh anchor and head back to port, taking around 3 hours. En route take your final photos and exchange email and mobile numbers with your new friends. |
